Long Beach Pet Care is a licensed pet care services company founded in 2016. We offer multiple pet care services, including pet sitting, dog walking and dog boarding. Additionally, we care for cats, chickens, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles and other pets. Long Beach Pet Care is insured and bonded by Pet Sitters Associates, a preferred pet business insurance provider since 1998.
Our service area includes Long Beach, Signal Hill, Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Seal Beach and Lakewood.
ABOUT THE OWNER
Hi, my name is Mihail (me-hi) Nica and I am the owner of Long Beach Pet Care. After a 10+ year career in logistics, I realized I missed nature and animals in particular, and constantly found myself looking back with fondness on my days as a biology student.
I have always wanted to start my own business, and decided to learn more about pet sitting – dogs in particular. Aside from caring for my own pets, I have always helped friends and family care for their pets. Over the last couple of years, I worked for a local pet care company and gained additional hands-on experience working with dogs. Along the way, I started raising chickens in my backyard – unsurprisingly, the journey of raising day-old chicks and seeing them be the happy girls they are today has made me a supporter of urban farming.
My vision for Long Beach Pet Care is to provide awesome service at a great price for pet owners and urban farmers alike.
